Straight wall agricultural and livestock tunnel, a self-bearing structure that canbe anchored directly into the ground using stakes and plates. This means there is no need for concrete foundations, thereby reducing construction times and avoiding lengthy bureaucratic procedures (these depend on the local authority where the building is installed).
As the name suggests, it is designed as a shelter for sheep and goats. Over time, though, its shape and versatility means it is increasingly used as an agricultural machinery shed, equipment storage shed or warehouse and, with the Farm Tunnel extension, it can be used to house cattle, sheep or goats.
Due A uses a single, double or triple-stake system designed to provide a secure hold on the ground, which is essential for the structure’s stability. The Ovile tunnel is made of hot-dip galvanised square tubing, the arched trusses are connected to each other with joints, C-channel purlins and X-braces, which increase load capacity at the points under the greatest stress.
All joint points are protected with heat-shrink sheathing that stops the fabric coming into contact with and rubbing against the framework. The cover is made from PVC-coated fabric, woven from high-strength polyester, designed and produced specially with industry experts to deliver the best possible performance for this purpose. Option of corrugated sheet metal and Tec28 insulated panel cover.
All Due A tensile structures are designed and can be calculated according to applicable Ministerial Decree 17/01/2018 regulations* on the basis of the precise installation site.
